Basil Boost Chicken Pizza

This bold, flavour-packed pizza layers our 7 Veggie Beets & Basil sauce with juicy chicken, earthy mushrooms, yellow pepper, sautéed spinach, and gooey cheese — all finished with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ cup Greens & Beans 7 Veggie Beets & Basil sauce

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (grilled, roasted, or rotisserie — whatever you’ve got)

  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced

  • A handful of mushrooms and yellow pepper, sliced

  • A handful of spinach

  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, havarti, or a mix)

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F.

  2. Sauté the mushrooms and spinach lightly in olive oil — just enough to soften them and cook off the moisture.

  3. Spread the Beets & Basil sauce over your pizza crust.

  4. Layer on the spinach, mushrooms, chicken, red onions, and cheese.

  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden.

  6. Top with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil right out of the oven.
